Shelter from the storm
The night is cold and windy. You try to fall asleep covered in woolly blankets sitting next to the roaring fireplace. A kettle of water is boiling. Two merchants share a bottle of spirits in a corner while they confide. A boy is busy bringing in more wood and sometimes going to check on the horses out back. You hope to find the road usable in the morning but for now you can only rest your weary body.
