Louisiana Rain
...one of those gully-washers rolls in right on top of you. It rains so hard that the spray gets you wet, even on the porch. The thunder is a continuous roll, with the occasional levinflash immediately overhead. Your Maman says all the little green frogs are singing for the rain, and the wind chimes, big and little, that she has hanging around the porch sway in the occasional gust of wind.
